MEET THE FOUNDER
I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago, where the village was never just a saying — it was a way of life. When I had my first child, my grandmother stepped in as my doula. She wrapped me in the ancient wisdom of generations, and in that care, I found my calling.
I moved to Los Angeles over thirty years ago, and in 2009, I began working as a baby nurse with families all across the city. By 2011, I had fully committed to this work — building my practice entirely through word of mouth and the trust of families who welcomed me into their most vulnerable moments.
For more than fifteen years, it has been my joy and privilege to support new parents as they find their footing, fall in love with their babies, and discover their own strength. I'm a nurturer at heart — a mother of two, a great listener, and someone who will learn your newborn's cues as if they were my own.
My story is deeply personal. Having been abandoned as an infant, I carry a lifelong tenderness for the most vulnerable among us. It is my dream to one day open a home for abandoned newborns — and every family I serve brings me closer to that vision.
